We offer a gourmet quality product using only premium USDA approved TOP ROUND ROAST that is freshly sliced, lean, and whole-muscle. Our jerky is soft, tender, and easy to chew.
Most other jerky companies produce jerky that consists of highly-processed, chopped, and formed meat that is tough and difficult to chew.
We do not add chemical preservatives, nitrites, or MSG.
Most other jerky companies use primarily foreign beef that is loaded with chemical preservatives, which have been linked to dangers such as cancer and reduced heart health.
We carefully (and tediously) trim out all the extra fat and vessel, making our jerky extra lean, healthy, and less likely to spoil.
Most other jerky companies do not take the time to trim out all the fat. Not only does this make their product less healthy, but it also causes the jerky to spoil faster due to the fat holding in more moisture.
We vacuum seal our packages, which significantly decreases the risk of bacteria and mold growth, as well as locks in that delicious flavor our customers have grown to love.
Most other jerky companies just throw their jerky in a resealable bag and call it good. By not vacuuming out the excess air from the packaging, they are putting their jerky at risk for bacteria and mold growth, as well as the chance of their jerky drying out.
We are a Christian company that is family owned and operated. Not only did we build TWJ from the ground up, but we also design and print our own labels, cut and seal our own bags, create our own marinades, make our own jerky (you'd be surprised the number of businesses that don't actually make their own product), and we built and update our own website.
Most other jerky companies employee many other people. More "hands in the pot" means less focus on quality. As a husband and wife team, we are dedicated to quality, every step of the way.
We package and VACUUM SEAL our jerky in BPA free triple barrier bags, removing all oxygen and thereby preventing spoilage due to oxidation. This means that every time you
open up a bag of our beef jerky, you can count on it tasting as fresh as it was the day we made it.
